you like to piss in peoples corn flakes, don't you?

WTF are you talking about? If we execute like we should have early in the game, the umpire doesn't matter. Even if Crede is allowed to go to first base, we still need a hit from Pods.

Is there a place where I can listen to the after the game press conference? I'm bored as hell at work and am curious as to what Ozzie says. I hope he also mentions how the team FAILED to execute, along with the fact that umps made some poor calls.

I'm also curious as to what they do because if Ozuna/Uribe aren't able to start, then someone needs to be on the DL (preferably Ozuna). I'd probably call up Andy Gonzalez of all people.

there goes the whole "we've won every series so far" bit

I think the earth is still going around.

/runs outside

Yep, it is.

6-2 on this road trip is pretty damn good.

They need to get healthy and get their s*** together and start it back up. That's all.

The game is still going on if Rowand catches a routine pop-up to CF. The sun is tough in Oakland, but that play needs to be made. The offense was so brutal today, they didn't deserve to win. Still a great trip, a much needed off day, and then beat the crap out of the Tigers.

Can we contact MLB in any way to complain about this game????

I don't think there are any grounds for an appeal, but regardless I'm guessing they could send a letter or make a call to the MLB offices to have whoever needs to look at the film and take note of the multiple of missed calls.

In a way this loss isn't that bad for the future because we had so many shortcomings last night that today we can make the umps the complete scapegoats. That might actually help the club move on and get over this series. At least until we see members of that crew again.

They better look at the film though and note how they are all trying to swing for the fences instead of go with what the pitcher gives them. Still, the Sox got the best record in baseball and have led in every game. Funny thing is even when the team has played awful they have been right in the games.

I'm going to be an optimist, hell, I thought Harden would shut em down yesterday and while I thought the Sox should win today that was before I knew Widge/Crede would be at 3rd and SS respectively.

I loggd on to MLB game day just in time to see that final Oakland batter get a hit. We lose 2-1. We have a banged up line up and people playing in posiitons they don't play in like Dye at SS? Wow!

It sucks to lose and we lost our first series, but it was bound to happen. What I don't like is the fact in happened on the West Coast and in the fashion it did on Tue and today. The West Coast has been a black hole for us in years past and if we had won 2 out of 3 I could see myself thinking we had turned the corner. But, that Jon Garland game was something special anyway and we are still in 1st place.

Agreed, In all my years I have never seen two games like these last two. Dropped balls, bad calls, throwing to wrong bases, people playing in odd positions, guys getting plunked, no retailiation, MLB calling the whitesox to tell them not to retaliate, odd calls at the plate. Guys getting injured. It was nuts. never want to see it again. Lets hope KC can do somethign tonight.
