Controlled Chaos
Isn't he on a 1 year contract?? The longer we wait the more money he'll want. I hate to see someone who's growing pains we suffered through leave just when he turns the corner. When is it too early to think about contract for Big Jon?? wilmot825
he won't leave... the sox have been too good to him for Garland just to leave. He likes the city and organization.
Gene Honda Civic
It doesn't really matter about him wanting more money. He's going to get paid like a 5th year player with similar stats.
retro1983hat
If he posts 16 wins, he'll get Matt Clement money. And since Burhle, Garcia, and the two Cubans are locked up for next year, get ready for B-Mac.
YASNY
QUOTE(retro1983hat @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:48 AM) If he posts 16 wins, he'll get Matt Clement money. And since Burhle, Garcia, and the two Cubans are locked up for next year, get ready for B-Mac. No he won't. He's not FA eligible.
