hammerhead johnson
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Apr 28, 2005 -> 10:10 PM) our playoffs end with Miami... enuf said, To say we have a good chance against them would make you a homer..... There is always a chance, but we have as much chance in beating them as Memphis does to beat Phoenix or Philly beating Detroit, or the Nets beating the Heat.... not good odds. We would probably even lose in 5-6 games if Curry and Deng were healthy too, so without them... we might get swept. I think we all realize that we're not ready to take out a team like Miami just yet. Hell, before the season started, I thought that we'd be competing with the Bobcats and Hawks for the number 1 overall pick next year. Advancing to the 2nd round in and of itself is an extraordinary accomplishment. I'd have told you that we were the luckiest team in baseketball back in January, but these 4 rookies that we have continue to shine. Look at the history of the NBA, and try to find a team with 4 rookies in their 8 man rotation that had a .500 record, let alone made the playoffs and actually advanced. SleepyWhiteSox
QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Apr 28, 2005 -> 05:09 PM) Nobody's gonna stop Wade, but your best bet to contain him is to put a defensive PG on him. I think that Duhon has more than held his own this year on D. It would be nice to have a superior defensive PG like Jamaal Tinsley, but those guys are beyond rare in this league. Duhon has been instrumental in our success this year, there's no question about it. Why even deny it. I'm more worried about guarding Shaq anyways. That's a powerful inside-outside game Miami has with those two. We'll play our hearts out, but that's just too much for the Bulls right now. And out of all the defensive PG's you could have used as an example, you choose Tinsley???
AssHatSoxFan
HEY PEOPLE DON'T WE STILL NEED TO BEAT THE WIZARDS dont assume a 2-0 lead = making it to the next round just remember mcgrady claiming how nice it was going to be to make it to the 2nd round once he had a 3-1 series lead so you never know... Tinsley is a beast on D, an unsung hero over there. The pre-brawl Pacers were an insane team, a Top 3 championship contender along with San Antonio and Detroit, IMO. If they'd have won it all this year, I wouldn't have been the least bit surprised. Why, who do you like more on D out of the PG slot? He's inconsistently missed a s***load of games, playing some and then sitting out a bunch, this year. And when he has played, he's looked to be playing verry gingerly on that foot. WHarris1
I would just like to point out that Duhon is outrebounding Brendan Haywood so far this series.

No, I'm talking about a healthy Tinsley, in peak form. It would be nice to have a guy of that defensive caliber, but Duhon will do. He's without a doubt our best option. I'm primarily focused on keeping up with Wade when he drives (which will be damn near every single time) and not getting into foul trouble. Force him to make that s***ty pass. Jabroni
Did anyone hear about Wizards' coach Eddie Jordan blaming the crowd noise for Hinrich lighting up his team? I guess the crowd noise must have affected his players' eyes so they could not see Hinrich well enough to guard him. Pitiful. :rolly Edited April 28, 2005 by Jabroni

Jabroni
I hope Tyson decides to show up this series... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> DOH!!! Qwerty hasn't been saying much about Chandler's play so far but in Tyson's defense, he hasn't played very many minutes.
