hammerhead johnson
I picked him up after he got his first victory, and he's given me three wins since then. His control has been absolutely superb. Now, I'm going over all of my player profiles and what not, and everyone says that he's a 5th starter or a long reliever at best. He spent 4 years in AA, but he's still only 24 years old. Did people just completely miss the mark on this guy, or what? David Bush was supposed to be the sleeper in the Jays SP picture, but he can't f*** with Chacin as far a I can tell. DonkeyKongerko
I picked him up based on numbers. I haven't seen any video of him pitching so I don't know what he throws. Anyone think I should sell high?
iWiN4PreP
Id sell him high, just cas hes on toronto + its beter to get something proven then unproven. but i have him on my team and hes not doing bad so even if u dont sell high, it still should be fine
Gene Honda Civic
He might actually be a sucess. He added a cutter to his arsenal last year in like his 3rd or 4th season at AA, and he's been mowing people down ever since.
WHarris1
On an unrelated note Pods has 68 more homers than RBIs, is hitting over.650, with a .775 OBP, and over 1.400 SLG.
Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 28, 2005 -> 07:36 PM) On an unrelated note Pods has 68 more homers than RBIs, is hitting over.650, with a .775 OBP, and over 1.400 SLG. Wedelstedt was working that game. So the Sox didn't get credit for the runs, but MLB ruled that they were HR's. Scott is the new HR king. Maybe I'm wrong no that probably sounds about right, but mind as well get him while hes hot, plus remember hernandez was injured last year and probably lost speed on his pitches causing him to suck so far this year
hammerhead johnson
Never mind. He had a flawless April, but now he's had three straight crappy starts, so I had to cut his ass. I'm not alone, either. After his performance yesterday, one of the Yahoo league experts said that several thousand teams dropped him. Picked up Adam Bernero...I hope he can get the job done in Atlanta.
DonkeyKongerko
There's usually a hot flavor every month. Joe Mays might need to be picked up.

Gustavo did go 18-2 in the minors last year, so that was a key factor in my decision to acquire him.
