The pitcher had an MRI on his right elbow Wednesday morning, and after a consultation with team physician Keith Meister in the afternoon, it was determined Francisco will undergo ligament replacement surgery. Showing once again why trading all those prospects for Carl Everett was still a good trade. Unless Jon Rauch becomes a 20 game winner.
