fathom
QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ May 1, 2005 -> 01:11 AM) I refuse to complain about Oz or the pitchers. Until I see an offense, there's no point to b**** about them. Good point. I think it's just because we're all so frustrated with this s***. The last 3 losses, and tonight's games, have been some of the worst I can ever imagine (not dealing with the Twins).
quickman
QUOTE(JimH @ May 1, 2005 -> 01:14 AM) We are all smart on this board, including me. He got out of it. 7th inning stretch, down 3-1. TQ, did you just see the Southwest commercial? And the price to Pittsburgh? i did not

Guest JimH
Hawk says, "He made the right decision". Ok, Hawk. Three weeks later, when Orlando is on the DL or going through a dead arm period, you can point (partly) to tonight. Who cares, we got three extra outs from him today, which will cost us down the road. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He was referring to what hitter to go after. Keith, there may have been other factors to letting him go in that inning. I wouldn't get too concerned in April.
whitesoxjr27
i'm agree with sleepywhitesox. i dont blame the pitching or oz. its the hitting right now. pitching is keeping us in the ballgame.

quickman
The sox win more games when they hit home runs. I don't think they hit one the last two games in Oakland, and they didn't hit one yesterday.

Punch and Judy Garland
Hernandez has gone 30 starts ONCE in his career and throwing him 7 innings each time out is one way to insure he doesn't repeat it. I wouldn't even bring it up if it wasn;t for KW/Cooper/Ozzie bragging about how smart they were going to be about limiting him

I still think he should have been done after the sixth, though. 105 pitches and he starts the inning? I just don't like the decision... Please get up, Aaron. Please, please...
