letsgoarow
Please tell me there is someone better to put in the field. Dye is a good player he is just slumping right now, we should let him fight through it, an send timo to single A Kannnapolis.

CWSGuy406
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 1, 2005 -> 02:02 AM) Can we have the clutch Timo arguement again? After going 1-for-4, Timo is now batting .176 with an OBP around .220-.230 (MLB hasn't updated their stats quite yet). If Kenny and Ozzie are true to there words about worrying about things like performance rather than what the guy is making, Timo will be making his $1 million bucks alongside Ben Davis at Charlotte. It's really the way it should be...

Hmm, sometimes he gives us fits, other times it's vice versa. Hopefully we can finish the series tomorrow. Lopez might start tomorrow. Guest JimH
Lopez might start tomorrow. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who is definitely out for tomorrow's game ... Guillen wants to keep Uribe and Ozuna out until Tuesday, Dye is suffering with a bad flu bug. I guess everybody else can play. That means Podsednik and Perez in there vs. a lefty unless Dye gets better overnite. Guillen likes to throw guys right in there so Lopez will probably play but I have no problem with Harris getting the start, he has not been hurting the team at SS. Since timo will most likely be playing can pierz bat fifth instead of timo? If he doesn't play at least move up rowand or crede. I wonder if widger will play again since he caught garland in his last outing against oakland. How do you think ozzie does it?

Pierz has got to still be hurting, toe injuries take time. I think Timo has to play tomorrow, they don't have anyone else. And yeah, he should bat way down low. But if Guillen starts Lopez you'd assume Lopez bats 9th. I am still pissed about that strikeout in the 9th inning of last nite's game, all he has to do is hit it to the right side or bunt for chrissakes. He has not been producing. wilmot825
Timo needs a shot, he was the key for game three in the sox vs. cubs game at U.S. Celluar last season. Give the guy a break

Willie has looked like a starter all season so far. Ozzie has done a great job of getting him good match ups. Plus he looks like he isn't afraid to steal a base.
