Princess Dye
i'll start by saying i'm not a DJ hater... while it's true he is not that proficient of an announcer..... i actually have to say i like that. for that reason, he's more likely to actually say what he's thinking.... a truly honest announcer is a rare thing. especially on the North Side, now that Stone is gone. and i like Hawk, but he's King of Homers. so anyway i like DJ, in general. That said, WOW does he need a new home run call. every time we homer, and DJ is doing playbyplay.... i actually find myself cringing, hoping he doesnt say "YUH-OH!!!!! BYE-BYE!!!!" But he always does. i really like Sox HRs, so please please we need DJ off the play-by-play. i dont know if Hawk is starting to scale back his work or what..... Princess Dye
i very much doubt this was actually preplanned HR call.... i seriously think it's just what runs thru his mind every time a HR happens.

As would I, as I have stated numerous times. I've grown to love that home run call. I think the first time it was just what was running through his mind, but now I think he's adopted it as his home run call. "Uh oh, uh oh, way back, he looks up, bye bye!"
