Jordan4life_2007
For anybody who cares..... IRVING – Free-agent running back Anthony Thomas has gone from backing up one Jones brother to another. The Cowboys signed the 2001 NFL offensive rookie of the year on Monday to a one-year deal. Terms were not released. Thomas will not be added to the roster until today, when the contract is approved by the league. That's some of the article. I can't post the whole thing, obviously. DBAHO
Meh. Barber's the backup, and Julius Jones is the starter. Still a good pickup though.

If you watched the Thanksgiving game on FOX last year, it was a bit hard NOT to pick up.
WilliamTell
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 3, 2005 -> 09:37 AM) If you watched the Thanksgiving game on FOX last year, it was a bit hard NOT to pick up. Since it was Thanksgiving I was with family that I hadn't seen in a few years. Plus none of the games were appealing to me. I don't like really like watching the NFC that much and I hate the Colts. So was Drew Henson and Vinny Testaverde, but ya know.

Just wondering your thoughts on that. Chad Hutchinson looks like he can be a very capable backup. Quincy has other issues. Drew Henson needs to be developed and Vinny is over the hill. Which way is better to go?
CWSGuy406
Solid pickup. A-Train was awesome for us whenever we needed him. If used correctly, he's a really good back, as he showed in 2001. He's not gonna break the big runs, but man, he'll get ya a good 3-6 yards everytime. And, when the fourth quarter hits... I guess that's a little biased, I liked Train a lot, and thought the organization treated him like s***. Best of luck to him in Dallas.
