Capn12
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ May 3, 2005 -> 08:49 PM) Mr. Iguchi crushed that ball. Welcome to the party Tadahito! Ear to ear smile with a Boone-esq bat flip. I f***ing hate when Juice Boone flips his bat like an asshat, but must say I didn't mind seeing Gooch do it

Milkman delivers
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 3, 2005 -> 07:48 PM) No one is going to believe me, but my eyes widened when I saw the catcher lining up on the inside corner. I was saying to myself, "mistake right here", and sure enough -- bye bye. Congrats, Tadahito! Not to brag, but I predicted Tads' first ML homer on another forum. But, I agree. CWSGuy406
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 4, 2005 -> 12:54 AM) Not to brag, but I predicted Tads' first ML homer on another forum. But, I agree. Well, it was a good night to pick it. Tonight was the night, if ever. Iguchi has been stellar against soft tossers -- or, pitchers who have a slow changeup (like Santana). Anderson doesn't have enough on his fastball to blow it by anyone, so, when I saw the catcher sitting on the inner half of the plate -- I got real, real happy for Tadahito. On a serious note, PK and Dye better start pulling their weight soon. And that's a lot of weight for Konerko to be pulling (couldn't resist). southsider2k5
Howdy all!! Great hustle by Dye to get into 2nd on that one... too bad AJ didnt' do anything behind him. Tied at 2 after 4 innings of play.
Y2HH
You know whats *NOT* funny, is that currently, with when and if any games are on the line, I'm hoping that the "Black Hole" isn't due up to bat. That being #3 #4 and #5. I honestly hope that we have the top or bottom of our order due up in do or die situations, and something needs to be done about that, because I'm sure the bottom isn't going to keep delivering as they currently are. And as I type this Dye is beginning to show signs of life.

fathom
QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ May 4, 2005 -> 01:16 AM) With the exception of Gooch and Dye, our offense looks clueless tonight. Crede and A.J. have awful bat speed right now. I know they're both banged up, but they're barely getting the bat through the zone.

KevHead0881
Based on how he hits us, is there a hitter in the bigs that you like to see less than Mike Sweeney? He's not the best out there, but he absolutely kills us.
