outfielders

looking to pick up two of the following

 

have edmonds already: the rest of my outfield is horrible (jacque jones, Jermaine Dye)

 

which two should i pickup:

 

Alex Sanchez, Jay Gibbons, David Dejesus, Lew Ford, Rondell White, Carl Everett, Nook Logan, Shannon Stewart, David Delucci

 

suggestions?

Right now I'd recommend Everett and Delucci. Del is either hitting homers or talking walks, so if your league tracks BB your set. He may cool down but he's been pretty damn good for a couple weeks now.

 

Stewart is doing pretty good leading off for the Twins, but...he's a Twin for God's sake!

to make it easier on you, you shouldnt pick up:

lew ford, stewart, rondell white

 

leaves you with choosing 2 out of:

alex sanchez, david dejesus, jay gibbons, everett, logan and dellucci

 

analysis:

alex sanchez-finally starting to hit and is able to steal and hit for avg

 

dejesus-still a young player yet capable of the same stats as alex sanchez but will play more

 

gibbons-part of an explosive offense and is starting to hit

 

everett-streaky hitter who gets big hits but playing time could be limited when thomas returns

 

Logan-gonna get lots of steals and runs and will hit average maybe 290's

 

Dellucci-if your gonna get him i suggest now while hes hot, when he hits hes good and right now might not be a bad choice if your team is struggling with the bat

 

its debatable who you should get:

id take gibbons or delluci for power, and of one struggles pick up the other

 

for avg and steals or what not i suggest logan or sanchez, however dejesus provides power and speed

 

Choices: Gibbons and Dejesus or Sanchez
