sox-r-us
From around the league: Focking Twinkies with bases loaded no one out in the bottom of the 1st against Millwood But good news, Spankees losing 6-2 now to the D Rays
Rowand44
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:24 PM) Aww, come on, Choi isn't that bad. 106 OPS+ for his career is dissappointing, but not terrible. But, if you could upgrade to Mike Sweeney for a reasonable price, I think they'll do it. Come on guys, lay off Donn a bit. I'm related to him. He's my mom's cousin (or second cousin). Easy now... That's why people are being hard on him Sorry, you left the door open for that one.

DBAHO
Poor John Buck. KC's offense is bad, granted, but you'd hate to be the easiest out in that lineup right now.

fathom
I honestly have no complaints if Pods will try to steal on the first or second pitch every time he gets on base, especially against a righty. We need to get some things going on the bases.

Hey, hey, cut him some slack...he's still working the kinks out. As for Buck, he'll come around. He'll be a staple of a major league roster in two year's time. I'm not quite sure he's ready to be an everyday starter.

He'll be a staple of a major league roster in two year's time. I'm not quite sure he's ready to be an everyday starter. Oh I agree, he's an excellent defensive catcher but just at this moment of his career he's not a good hitter. But he's the guy long - term for them, that's why they moved Justin Huber to 1st, as if they don't have enough players there already.
