whitesoxfan101
I don't get you haters....I personally love DJ. He is just hysterical, being proven even more lately as he's got to talk more as the PBP guy, and his home run call has me dying laugh everytime. upnorthsox
QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 7, 2005 -> 03:38 AM) WhiteSox.com has DJ's homerun calls for Corey Koskie and Jermaine Dye. Corey Koskie's homerun: "Uh-oh... 1 to 1." Jermaine Dye's homerun: "WAAAYYY BACK... UHHH-OHHHHHH... YES!" I think you're a little off with the caps for Dye's HR, it didn't have near that much enthusiasm.

Jabroni
WhiteSox.com has DJ's homerun calls for Paulie, Uribe, and Iguchi. Konerko's 2-run homer: "OHHH MY. 2 nothing." Uribe's homer: "BYE-BYE." Iguchi's homer: "UH-OHHH... come on, come on... it's up, it's up, it up, IT'S OUT!"

Queen Prawn
QUOTE(santo=dorf @ May 5, 2005 -> 10:38 AM) Rooney did a 2003 series in Oakland with DJ. Wilsy went into the booth with Farmer. I can't take those two (rooney and DJ) during a game. I fell asleep the last time they did.

Chisoxfn
QUOTE(T R U @ May 5, 2005 -> 07:53 AM) I dont get how you cant like DJ, hes funny.. I love listening to games with DJ up there, hes great I'm with you. I find myself laughing histerically at the games. DJ is awesome...with Hawk and without him. Now for Don...well he's not the greatest in the world but I still find myself entertained. And I for one, love the UH-OH....it just reminds me of Family Guy
bigred3535
Watching the game on WGN yesterday, I was pretty scared after the shaky intro, with DJ stumbling over his words and Donn Pall not saying anything at all, but I have to say it got better as it went on. DJ still doesn't belong in play-by-play, but at least it's somewhat tolerable while Hawk is gone (although DJ didn't call anything a ducksnort...). Jabroni
WhiteSox.com has DJ's homerun calls for Dye and Uribe. Dye's homer: "UHHH-OHHH... GET UP... BYE-BYE!!!" Uribe's homer: "UHHH-OHHH... GET UP... offense... instant... one run for the Sox." After Dye's homer... Donn Pall: That would have been my click to pick, or pick to click, what do you call those there DJ?" DJ: "You can pick whatever you want." Is DJ turning into Hawk with all those witty comments?
