NUKE_CLEVELAND
They give up the tying and lead runs without the benefit of a base hit. This team is every bit as s***ty as I say they are. GIMMIE A HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sox-r-us
I wouldn't say we PWN3D them in any of the games....3 straight one run games Considering how bad our O (especially our middle order) has been though, I will take an ugly win any day over a great performance that results in a loss Great job by the Count
longshot7
Two bases-loaded walks?!!? What kind of crazy luck do we have? I hope it lasts all season.
sox-r-us
QUOTE(longshot7 @ May 5, 2005 -> 08:19 PM) Two bases-loaded walks?!!? What kind of crazy luck do we have? I hope it lasts all season. We had a lot of this luck during our 2000 campaign. When it mattered though, we did squat. I hope we figure out a way to upgrade/improve on O rather than keep relying on our pitching/breaks to get us wins.

But you're right. That Royals bullpen sure helped us out today, but a win is a win. I like being 21 - 7. This season has been somewhat enjoyable so far. Here's to Big Jose's first win of the season! He was money today.

Capn12
We certainly didn't own anyone, but got some extremely lucky breaks at the right time, and pulled this game out of our ass. Sometimes I'd rather be lucky than good...

GoodAsGould
I hate going to Toronto... they got that astro-turf field and now those OF walls are supposedly dangerous to OF's trying to steal HR"s off of em... Rowand needs to watch out back there... I just hope no one gets injured.
