this might be a tuffy, toronto hits well, and if duque allows runners to them it could get ugly, plus from what i recall we never end up doing well in the skydome, but anyways

If we can win in the twinkie dome we can win in Sky Dome.

CHW: Hernandez (3-1, 2.70 ERA)

TOR: Bush (0-3, 4.97 ERA)

-Bush's first career start vs. the Sox.

-Has pitched well his last two starts.

-Team has a 0-5 record when he pitches.

-El Duque last three years vs. TOR: 8 GS, 2-4, 4.03 ERA, .234 AVG

-At Skydome (or whatever it's called now): 0-3, 7.79 ERA, in four starts.

-However, the only player with good career numbers vs. El Duque is Vernon Wells (21 ABs, 2 HRs, .987 OPS)

-Everyone with 10+ career AB has a OPS below .600.

One thing that I DEFINTELY want to see overcome is the first time we face any pitcher, they might as well be Cy f***ing Young. I know others notice that too... so let's break that schnied, shall we?

All I want is a series win.....sweep would be nice....not getting swept is a must. If we go 0.500 rest of the way we will be in the playoffs so that is all I care about

28 games played thus far. We have won 21 of them. There are 162 games in a baseball season.

162-28 = 134

134/2 = 67

21+67 = 88

If we play .500 baseball for the rest of the season we will win 88 games. I really don't think that wins the division. We're gonna need 90+ to beat out the Twins for the Central Division Title.

How about this pipe dream

We play continue to play .750 ball the rest of the year (which is our % now) :

134 x .75 = 100.5, lets just round it down to 100

100+21 =121

162-121 = 41

121-41

**Puts down pipe**

Recent teams with 110+ wins off the top of my head:

2001 Seattle Mariners: 116-46 (.716)

1998 New York Yankees: 114-48 (.704)

I can't think of any others.
