DonkeyKongerko
Well Uribe smoked one between 2nd and 1st but Hudson made a diving play to save it from going into right field. Uribe thought it got past Hudson and started rounding the bag which cost him about 3 or 4 steps. Hudson probably would have got him anyways but who knows. WHarris1
Even though it was a foul, Pods had 3rd easy right there. What a base stealer.
Milkman delivers
Thanks. I don't think I've ever seen someone slide feet first into first.
Guest JimH
Could you explain what happened? And nice hit by Pods. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sure. Uribe did a nice piece of situational hitting and poked a grounder into the hole between 1st and 2nd. He immediately thought it would go into RF and took a very wide path toward 1B ... thinking he had a base hit for sure. Then, Hudson dove and got it and Uribe tried to straighten out his path to 1B. Hudson threw him out even though Uribe tried to slide into 1st. Ugly.
fathom
JimH.....will you agree with me Uribe would have easily beat that throw if he had been running normal?

Milkman delivers
Well, inning over but at least it seems like the offense is alive today. Let's see if they can make up for the mistakes they've made so far.

Milkman delivers
Hillenbrand K's. Inning over. That's 56 pitches through 3 innings. I hope Duque gets it together soon because I really don't wanna see Cotts today. Could someone that's actually watching the game let me know how Duque's doing? From gameday, it seems pretty bad.
