You are not a true baseball fan unless you know every player card issued by Topps and the stats listed on the back. Can you do that? Simply because you appear on a sports talk show like BBTN doesn't mean you are an expert. I believe their scripts are written for them and probably by young interns judging by their drivle-dribble-rubbish sometimes.  But, when we get kuddos I luv it too.

I have no idea what you are trying to say here to be completely honest. I do however not believe that their scripts are written for them. Not sure where you are going with the baseball card thing though.

Qwerty, I always find it funny when fans complain that they know more about their team than the national media does. Of course. I mean, if someone invests 20 hours a week watching gmaes and then 10 hours a week reading about them in the paper and fansites, and then 15 hours a week watching sports talk radio, well you get the picture.

No wonder my car insurance is so high, hey keep your eyes on the road the radio isn't going anywhere. :bang

:D :D :D :P

I find it funny when guys gets paid outrageous amounts of money to go on TV and talk about baseball, when they have no idea what they are talking about. Silly me to think that people who pass themselves off as experts should have a clue. Especially when they have staffs of people paid just to do their research for them. Its just like any other profession in my opinion. If you are being paid to know it, you should know it.

The bullpen looks much better right now because it's had to do the least amount of work in MLB. Take a look at the WSox IP vs all other teams.

That is such a huge luxury for any team & I don't see that changing much.

Mark always goes long, Garland has recent history dating back to 2004 for going long, El Duque always can go long (at the risk of losing him in the season), & Contreras seems to have finally figured it out.

I'll make the claim right now that I would be surprised if the WSox do not post the fewest relief IP for the whole season. That's going to make them very tough to beat in Aug & Sep when the arms are fresher than the rest.

Lead OPS on team: Iggy (778OPS). Thomas 2002 OPS: 855.

The league will cringe & shiver in fear when the Big Hurt returns to the 2005 White Sox. You heard it hear first ;)
