greg775
The Sox have led in every game this year. How is this possible? We have led in every single game??? Amazing. The boys should go out and tip a few in Toronto tonite to celebrate that feat.
The Critic
It means that they're not getting blown out. Which is the thought process behind the "build on pitching and defense" theory. Kinda hard to believe that it hasn't happened to them even once yet. I love it so far, especially since Konerko and Dye are showing signs of life. As long as they're leading at the end of 9, I'm happy!
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
They blew the old record away !! Coincidentally the old record of 25 was held by the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers who just happen to have won the World Series that year and were Jerry Reinsdorfs favorite team as a boy. witesoxfan
Just to add to what Critic said... The Sox biggest margin of loss was 6 runs, that to Cleveland in the 3rd game of the season, and that was just cuz Vizcaino sucked ass that day. The second biggest margin of loss was 3 runs to Minnesota in the Johan game. The other 5 have been by 1 or 2 runs. That is pretty incredible. Yep, and those 6 runs came in the 11th inning, so that doesn't really qualify as a blowout in my book. and I would defend Viz - he took one for the team that day, the bullpen was spent so Viz had to stay in there too long and get rocked.
