CWSGuy406
Get well, Zaun. I'm definitely not very excited about the win. That play at the end just brought the whole game down. Let's hope it's nothing serious...

SoxFanForever
Great win, good job guys. Really hope Zaun is ok. Seems like a cool guy and always seems to play hard.
S720
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 8, 2005 -> 02:05 PM) Another win against a .500 team. And WHO made the Jays .500 team? Just like the Indians, the Tigers, and the Royals. My question to the experts is WHO made those teams under .500?

My question to the experts is WHO made those teams under .500? I guess I should have made the font green or something. I, of course, was kidding. Jabroni
Another win against a .500 team. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep, Mariotti was right! Pray for Gregg Zaun.
whitesoxfan101
What a maalox masher, but I'll take it!!! And damn I hope Zaun is ok, that looked very very bad, bad enough for something serious like that to happen, but especially on a freak accident when the guy is just playing hard... AngelasDaddy0427
Get will soon Zaun... However I am excited to have the 8 in a row... Buherle also with win number 5, and lets hope Uribe got all the errors for the rest of the year out of his system today.

CWSGuy406
And quietly, Damaso Marte has been our second best reliever out of the bullpen this year (or, perhaps tied with Politte). I believe our top two relievers have emerged...

TheBlackSox8
They could go for another sweep by playing tampa bay
Milkman delivers
QUOTE(longshot7 @ May 8, 2005 -> 03:14 PM) what happened to Zaun? He was on first when there was a force out at second. He slid into second to try to take out Pedro Lopez, but Pedro's knee hit him right near the temple. He was down for a long time and not moving. His legs began to move a little, they braced his neck and put an oxygen bag on his face, and took him off the field.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
QUOTE(TheBlackSox8 @ May 8, 2005 -> 02:17 PM) They could go for another sweep by playing tampa bay Back ......to....... Back.......to.......Back sweeps I like that idea........Lets go make it happen!
LosMediasBlancas
Today was closer than it should have been. Two bonehead errors by Uribe and Ozzie's decision to yank Hermy made it waaaaay more exciting than it should have been.....but I'll take wins however they come. In our excitement to face the Os', let's not get cocky and complacent and overlook Tampa Bay. We need to shoot for another sweep, even taking 2 of 3 from them would be kinda dissapointing, you gotta get fat of the bad teams. Go Sox Edited May 8, 2005 by LosMediasBlancas
