southsider2k5
CTA wants funding changes. The governor wants the CTA to "stop scaring people" and also wants to see their books. http://www.nbc5.com/news/4471559/detail.ht...994&dppid=65192
Queen Prawn
If they do what they are planning, my dad will have no way to get home from work (he works 2nd shift downtown and gets out around 1AM).
The Critic
I'll still be able to get to work, but I might have to push my start time back an hour or two, and THAT would really blow. Maybe if the CTA laid off the 5 to 10 people who stand around doing jack s*** at EVERY goddamned terminal, they wouldn't have to cut any of their already sub-par service... Rex Kickass
Part of the problem with the CTA "L" is that the capital funds for system improvement aren't there.... Metra gets a buttload of that money and CTA simply doesn't.
