Also:  Baseball Stars, Contra, 10-Yard Fight, Double Dribble and Pro Wrestling for Nintendo

Tetris for Gameboy.  Had many sore thumbs because of that!

Micro League Baseball for PC.

There's a game called double dribble!?! :bang

Is the goal to of the game to be called for as many infractions as possible?

Double Dribble and Blades of Steel are two of the greatest sports games ever!

I still play Tennis on Game Boy...

MARIO-KART 64 is my all-time favorite. We'd put away madden, ncaa, nbka2k, halo, and the rest and break out the N64 to play first-to-25 Battle wins in 4-player when I was living with some friends in college...World Series 2K1 is another game that got a lot of play in the apt...

Any Legend of Zelda is good too...and almost all the NES games are great...

There was a game called "Hero" for the old Atari.

It was a dude with a helicopter pack on his back, a handful of dynamite sticks and a gun. You had a certain amount of time to through the level to rescue somebody. You could never beat the game because it just started over after level 24...

Anyone remember the old Odessy games? There was an old western style shooting game that I loved.

got the thread idea from SoxNBears01

My favorite video game from way back has to be NBA Jam for SNES.

2nd: Ken Griffey presents MLB Baseball-N64

3rd: Pilot Wings-SNES

Alright PilotWings was very badass. However, I'm going for NES...CONTRA :headbang

I also liked SNK baseball for Nintendo. I remember I'd be the all girl team and whoop up on my friends.

Brian just gave away his copy of this to his brother, niece and nephews on the stipulation he gets it back if they ever decide to get rid of it lol.

I didn't see Double Dragon mentioned anywhere. That was the baddest of the bad in 1980's fighting games. I can remember lines 10-20 deep waiting to play that game at the local arcade.

Any of you southside people remember the Fun Zone at Archer and Pulaski? They closed down years ago but that place was awesome when I was growing up.

Oh man, so f***ing classic.

It helps that I have a man crush on Jr.

But wow what a great game.

Intellivision:

Night Stalker

Space Armada (the invisible ships are a pain in the butt)

Astro-Smash

On my MAME (so in other words...old arcade games):

Joust

Wizard Of Wor

Pheonix

Space Invaders II (I think it might be Return Of The Space Invaders or something like that)

Defender (just for the sounds mainly)

Oddly, I don't like the realistic looking games at all.

All my favorite games were on SNES:

Final Fantasy III/VI

Ogre Battle

Honorable mentions:

Star Fox

Zelda III

I think system with the overall best games made was SNES. They have the best gameplay/storyline combos overall.

I always liked Paperboy.

You could get points by throwing and smacking barking dogs with newspapers, breaking windows, hitting guys who were mowing the lawn...etc.

That game is way too repetitive therefore making the game old really fast.

I agree, but for alot of people it is all about the graphics which i stringly disagree with.
