KipWellsFan
QUOTE(robinventura23 @ May 11, 2005 -> 10:08 AM) Also: Baseball Stars, Contra, 10-Yard Fight, Double Dribble and Pro Wrestling for Nintendo Tetris for Gameboy. Had many sore thumbs because of that! Micro League Baseball for PC. There's a game called double dribble!?! Is the goal to of the game to be called for as many infractions as possible? SleepyWhiteSox
QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ May 11, 2005 -> 12:53 PM) There's a game called double dribble!?! Is the goal to of the game to be called for as many infractions as possible? Double Dribble and Blades of Steel are two of the greatest sports games ever! I still play Tennis on Game Boy... MARIO-KART 64 is my all-time favorite. We'd put away madden, ncaa, nbka2k, halo, and the rest and break out the N64 to play first-to-25 Battle wins in 4-player when I was living with some friends in college...World Series 2K1 is another game that got a lot of play in the apt... Any Legend of Zelda is good too...and almost all the NES games are great...
Iwritecode
There was a game called "Hero" for the old Atari. It was a dude with a helicopter pack on his back, a handful of dynamite sticks and a gun. You had a certain amount of time to through the level to rescue somebody. You could never beat the game because it just started over after level 24... Anyone remember the old Odessy games? There was an old western style shooting game that I loved.

NUKE_CLEVELAND
I didn't see Double Dragon mentioned anywhere. That was the baddest of the bad in 1980's fighting games. I can remember lines 10-20 deep waiting to play that game at the local arcade. Any of you southside people remember the Fun Zone at Archer and Pulaski? They closed down years ago but that place was awesome when I was growing up. Edited May 11, 2005 by NUKE_CLEVELAND

DonkeyKongerko
I still have my 162-0 season saved on Griffey. I think I lost one playoff game before winning the World Series 4-0 over the Expos.

knightni
I always liked Paperboy. You could get points by throwing and smacking barking dogs with newspapers, breaking windows, hitting guys who were mowing the lawn...etc.
