CWSGuy406
It didn't look like Giambi was doing too well down there in the first place. Oh well, it was a good signing. Too bad it didn't work out. No harm, no foul.
BHAMBARONS
Also Tetsu Yofu was cut as of today.
DBAHO
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 12, 2005 -> 08:43 AM) It didn't look like Giambi was doing too well down there in the first place. Oh well, it was a good signing. Too bad it didn't work out. No harm, no foul. Wasn't the whole reason for signing him a favor to his agent Art Tellem to help us with the Frank negotiations at the end of the season? southsider2k5
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 11, 2005 -> 11:24 PM) Wasn't the whole reason for signing him a favor to his agent Art Tellem to help us with the Frank negotiations at the end of the season? Great now we will never resign Frank
Dick Allen
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 11, 2005 -> 10:24 PM) Wasn't the whole reason for signing him a favor to his agent Art Tellem to help us with the Frank negotiations at the end of the season? It might have been a favor to Tellem, but that would never have affected the negotiations with Frank. Tellum and JR have a very good relationship. It was JR who recommended Tellem to Frank. Chisoxfn
There must be a reason he hasn't played much the past couple years. Obviously steroids has something to do with it, but he's got to be struggling with something else. Plus the Knights have some pretty dire needs and Guitirez and Rosie Brown are both better than Giambi at this point.
