Jabroni
Did anyone see the ESPN story on Buehrle tonight? They did a story on how he pitches so fast. They interviewed Buehrle, Konerko, Pierzynski, Rowand, and Don Cooper. AJ said that Buehrle rarely shakes off a sign (maybe 1 per outing) and he's a joy to catch for. They said that his quickness was the key to him being "in the zone" when he's on the mound. Buehrle said that batters will sometimes bluff moves like pretending to have dirt in their eyes, etc. to make him slow down and get out of his rhythm. Buehrle said that it didn't matter -- he can't be taken out of his rhythm when he's on the mound. Also, during the Orioles vs. Sox game recap, they hyped up Garland as the All-Star Game's possible A.L. starter. Well, at this point, it's not even close. The only pitcher in baseball that's been better is in the national league.

We all know Matt Karchner has a chance to make it for the Cubbies. He's awesome!!! He was also always better than Garland.

Here's a fun game to play on a Cubs fan: Tell him "Well, I gotta admit it....the Cubs drafted the two best pitchers in baseball right now...." ( Wait for the smile to rise on his face ) "....Jon Garland and Dontrelle Willis....too bad they were too stupid to keep them....by the way, how are Matt Karchner and Matt Clement doing for the Cubbies this year?" ( Enjoy watching the smile fade away )
