Dick Allen
If you have 2 or 3 guys with you, it would cost just a little more to take a taxi. Far more convenient from Union Station if you ask me. Edited May 13, 2005 by Dick Allen
black jack
i've taken that subway trip a few times and it's a real pain in the butt. after the game the cars are overpacked and if you enjoy the city too much and miss the final train back to the burbs, you'll be sleeping at the station. LosMediasBlancas
It's not difficult at all. When you exit Union Station, walk like 6 blocks EAST to State street. Just ask someone where State street is, or ask them which way the lake is, that will be east bound. Once you are on State street, you will see signs for the Red line subway stations. You can get on at any of the subway stations along State street. Catch the SOUTH bound train, the signs will probably say 'southbound to 95th'. Get off the train at the Sox-35th street station. That train ride is probably 15 minutes total. It's pretty simple. A someone else said, I'd make sure your Metra train runs late at night so that you don't miss it on the way home. It does take a long time to get on the red line leaving the game. Edited May 14, 2005 by LosMediasBlancas

AnthraxFan93
tru i thought u had to take 2 subways from union station? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you walk 4 blocks north on Clinton take the green line, into the city get off at 35th/IIT walk West 2 blocks your at the park, and less of a line going back compared to the RedLine. DABearSoX
once you get to union station goto the Canal Street exit (its listed on the signs) go out the door take a right about 5-10 feet down you'll see a sign for Bus #124 to Navy Pier.....get on that pay 2.00 for fare and a transfer.....take it to the state street stop probably like the 3rd or 4th stop....then all down state street is the Red Line, take your transfer card and take it south bound.....you'll see the stop its called SOX - 35th....and your there
