Palehosefan
Man, I hope Brandon isn't going through a dead arm stage. I know its too early to really worry about him, but getting roughed up in 2 straight starts just isn't like him.
Guest JimH
getting roughed up in 2 straight starts just isn't like him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree, so let's call him up and have him pitch long relief for us.

BHAMBARONS
Jacksonville 1 Barons 0 What a pitchers duel, Heath Phillips was outstanding again today with 6 shutout innings Threw some great cutters one to Catcher Russell Martin for a Swinging Strike Out, Struck Out Joel Guzman on a great sinker. Dwyane Pollok looked great with a good slider K'd Russell Martin on it. Only Run came on a Ryan Sweeney error in the 9th as he mishandled a ball in the corner. Barons are in Missisippi tomorrow with Tracey on the mound

Cerbaho-WG
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 15, 2005 -> 08:37 PM) Gio's back. Hopefully we'll see him with the Warthogs very soon. He's been back since Liotta's outing. I believe Gonzalez walked one and was then pulled. Why this happened, who the hell knows. But, yes, if Gio can keep this up, can't wait for him in Winston-Salem. Gio walked 3 or so batters in relief of Liotta. It was not a good outing.
