tomatocan
QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 15, 2005 -> 06:51 PM) Make 'em eat s*** on ESPN! Yeah- when was the last time the Sox ate anything but a loss on ESPN? Seriously. When was the last time they won an ESPN game?
NUKE_CLEVELAND
QUOTE(Yoda @ May 16, 2005 -> 04:43 PM) I had no idea that we're going to be on ESPN. Hopefully the pitching and especially the offense is there tonight. That works for me. It beats the hell out of MLBTV.

Punch and Judy Garland
I was at the near-no-no by Washburn where Frank hit a game winner. THat was summer 03. Not sure about how many since but that's the furthest back it could go
NUKE_CLEVELAND
QUOTE(Steff @ May 16, 2005 -> 04:56 PM) Get your sorry butt to Chicago and ATTEND a game.. I plan on it. I'll be around for the series between us and the Angels and against Cleveland coming up here around the 1st of June. I plan on making it to at least 5 of those 6 games before I disappear into the desert again.

CWSGuy406
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 16, 2005 -> 07:12 PM) My problem is with Cotts being brought in after he had a train wreck of an outing when Politte hasn't pitched in forever. If Politte was hurt then I could see but why is he not getting some work if he's healthy? Is Politte hurt? There's really no reason that Cotts is the first one to get the call in a two run game, regardless of him being a lefty...
Kalapse
Politte is fine. He just hasn't pitched in 4 games, nothing to freak out about. he pitched a scorless inning on the 11th and he pitched 1.1 innings on the 9th. He hadent pitched since the 4th before he pitched on the 9th so this is nothing new. Politte goes entire series without pitching. BuehrleTheAce
This is how the bottom of the first SHOULD GO: Pods singles. Steals 2nd. Willie sacrifices him to 3rd. ARow brings Pods in on a ground rule double. Kong smacks a 2 run HR. Everett and Pierz single, runners at the corners. Aaaaand Crede GIDPs, Pierz out at second End of 1, 3-1 Sox. NUKE_CLEVELAND
At least Duque learns from his mistakes. He started keeping the off speed stuff down after the dinger and he struk out 2 batters. Now if we can get him to stop going 0-2 then walking the batter.
