marsh
QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 17, 2005 -> 08:54 AM) Borchard? LOL. He's hitting .190 for Charlotte with 8 walks and 48 strikeouts... http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...milb&pid=400021 He is garbage. yeah but he had a hit yesterday. so he's on fire! kapkomet
QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 17, 2005 -> 02:04 PM) Yep, we should have traded Borchard for a shiny bag of balls after his hot Spring Training. Also, the Bears just drafted Kyle Orton so Joe is screwed. Jabroni, I want to check something out. What are the positives of the White Sox so far? AddisonStSox
Looks like Addy will make this first trip to the SouthSide this season. Disturbing trend: the past 3 consecutive games the White Sox have scored 6 runs and lost the ballgame...something to keep an eye on. Go get em' boys! Still an awfully good team in my book, not a whole lot to b**** about.
DBAHO
QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ May 17, 2005 -> 11:11 PM) How about Brian Anderson? Drop Timo's useless ass and bring up Brian Anderson...any takers? That ain't going to happen, especially considering Anderson won't be playing everyday. Let him develop down at Charlotte, where's he's doing a pretty good job. kapkomet
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 17, 2005 -> 02:33 PM) Right now, the Sox are playing some very good teams right now. We split with Baltimore, which while im not happy with, I will take it. We lost the 1st game to Texas, but we now have Jon and Mark taking the bump. There still 27-12, which still boggles my mind. Everyone take a step back. Hell no. We're supposed to be 34-5 right now so we could match the best start ever. Nothing else is acceptable. In fact, 162-0 is what we're SUPPOSED to be. Otherwise, we lost. And that can't happen.

And take a step forward....and another step back...and now we're cha-cha-ing!
SouthsideNorthsideFan
that "still have the best record" crap is just that...makes it sound like a fleeting thing. Here's the right attitude: QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 17, 2005 -> 09:33 AM) We lost the 1st game to Texas, but we now have Jon and Mark taking the bump. They're still 27-12, which still boggles my mind. DBAHO
QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 18, 2005 -> 12:37 AM) you know im in on that plan. 1 - It starts the arbitration process early. 2 - Would Ozzie actually play him everyday over Dye or Timo? No. 3 - It's his 1st season in AAA. Only 137 AB's there. 4 - Joe Borchard showed what happened when you promote people too early. 5 - K/BB ratio needs improving still. 39/15. SnB
Even with these losses you just gotta say that we're 27-12......and think about that. Then shutup. This team can afford some downtime in my book, even though yesterday should have been a W. What a cold, miserable way to spend a night at the cell last night. greasywheels121
People who are b****ing right now are f***tarded. Teams have ups and downs. "But, but, but we should be 39-0...." No excuses, pessimists, name me one team in the history of MLB that has never went through ups and downs. We're 27-12. We're already exceeding expectations, and I think this team shall continue to do so.
