The Chicago Cubs today agreed to terms with infielder Enrique Wilson on a contract for the 2005 season. In addition, the Cubs optioned infielder Ronny Cedeno to Iowa (AAA) and transferred pitcher Chad Fox to the 60-day disabled list.

Yeah he'll be a great fillin for Nomar, gotta love that .246 career avg.

In all honesty all they did was replace Neifi perez with Neifi Perez here. They're both good defensive infielders that can't hit.

Neifi Perez is a stud compared to Enrique Wilson. :lolhitting The Cubs boards are going apes*** about how stupid Hendry is for making such a horrible, lateral move considering Ronny Cedeno is twice the player that Wilson is.

Neifi Perez, Jose Macias, and Enrique Wilson all on the same roster. Good lord. How many crappy infielders does one team need? Is Hendry's main goal of the season to hoard as many of these scrubs as he can? And people think Kenny is a bad GM. :rolly Edited by Jabroni

The question is not how many crappy infielders does one team need...the actual question is how many crappy infielders can 1 team put on the DL.
