Looks like the Sox will be taking another series win into the weekend series, when they will proceed to pillage the Deadly Confines (aka the urinal) for a sweep, a 5 game win streak, and hopefully a 7.5 game or better lead on the Twins! But first, there's the business of Mark getting his 7th win.

good thing is Dellucci doesnt start vs lefties and he really has hit us well, also Nix sucks vs lefties and even though he has same amount of HR's from both sides Blalock is a lot worse vs lefties too...

I think the key players Mark needs to watch our for are Soriano and Mench. Mench has been hitting the ball really well this series and that one AB vs Garland he had like 10 foul line drives. Not to mention 2 HR's the 1st game. Soriano because he seems like the type of hitter that could take Mark deep.

Mark will give up some HRs tomorrow .... the key is can our hitting continue to score in the range of 5 to 7 runs....if yes, we will win

Agreed. The key is no walks. Make them hit. The same strategy applies for the Cubs, but even moreso. If the Cubs don't hit homers, they don't win.

Taking into account Mark Buehrle's last two day games at home, fans better not be late or they might miss the White Sox's finale against the Rangers altogether.

When it comes to day games at home, the southpaw seems to waste no time getting his team a win.  Buehrle's two day games at U.S. Cellular Field have lasted one hour and 55 minutes, and one hour and 39 minutes.

The games are not just quick ones, either. In four day-game starts, Buehrle is 4-0 with a 1.72 ERA. Buehrle has struck out 25 batters in those games and only given up a total of eight runs.

The game is also a big one for the White Sox, as the team looks to win its second in a row and clinch its 11th series win this season.

Wow, Buehrle really does make the Rangers eat s***. Look at his sick career numbers versus Texas. :o

45.2 IPs in 6 starts, so just short of 7 2/3 IP per outing for MB vs. Texas. That's very impressive (of course it's basically par for MB I guess. :notworthy )

And 48 baserunners in those 45.2 IP....I luuuuuuuuv Mark. Prepare for a heaping helping of s*** on your way out Texas.

Interesting that Carl's all the way down to 7th. I would think Dye would be down there. Also, no Widger. But with AJ being so hot and the off day tomorrow, I understand. At least it's not a crazy ass day game lineup and.... NO TIMO!!

The offday tommorrow is the reason for that... plus we have that long roadtrip we have to go on this weekend ;)

I figured as much. Maybe 4 games in a row with a homer?

I'm honestly convinced that one of the main reasons for Rowand swinging good right now is that he's no longer hitting behind guys like PK, Dye and Everett. Those guys don't have near the quality at-bats that Pods and Iguchi do. Thus, when Rowand gets to the plate, he's able to see more pitches before he hits and is in a better frame of mind.

Maybe, but I think he sees alot of good pitches to hit in general and doesn't get as much respect as Konerko or even Dye. Still with Pods and Gooch on base ahead of him, Rowand is gonna get some cookies.
