fathom
For some reason, I have more confidence with Uribe up with RISP than anyone else. Even though he's the king of the pop up to 2nd base, I still think he's dangerous in those situations.

southsider2k5
Pablo bounds into a soft 6-3 DP to end the inning. The Sox score 4 and lead 4-0 after 4 innings.
longshot7
btw - for those interested- Jake Westbrook lost AGAIN - when the Angels scored two in the top of the 9th to win the game in Cleveland. Talk about a hard-luck loser - if he was matching up against team's #2 or 3 pitchers, he might be 5-1. Bartolo outdueled him.

GoodAsGould
I was so happy they walked Everett.... Honestly I like Uribe in that situation more than anyone else... love the way he swings the bat. Also Dye looked really good yesterday so not 2 surprising he has some hits today... hopefully he keeps it up than he wont be ripped so much and only person to complain about will be Konerko

longshot7
QUOTE(Steff @ May 18, 2005 -> 11:20 AM) He (Colon) is gonna face Jon next Monday, isn't he...??? It looks like it - unless Scoiscia decides to give Bart one more game off, considering he pitched today on 3 days rest. Angels matchups Mon - Garland v Colon Tues - Buehrle v Angels 5th starter Wed - Garcia v Washburn Thurs - Contreras v Lackey Playnig on the road is tough, esp on the West Coast, but we have a great chance to win 3 if not all 4, considering how bad the Angels the playing right now. I'll be at the first 3 games.
