Winnin Ugly
With the Sox playing at Wrigley field and we might need an extra bat to pinch hit... Do you think KW will send Walker to the minors and bring up someone like Brian Anderson
Jabroni
We really could use Ross Gload right about now but I don't think he's healthy.

Guest JimH
This was discussed today at the game and later on at Buffalo Wild Wings. I would not be surprised with a roster move, would also not be surprised if Cotts is optioned out and a guy who can pinch hit and play 1B is brought in, can you say Greg Norton. Not saying "for" or "against" on this, just speculating. If Cotts is optioned, he can be brought back at any time. Walker would need to go thru waivers, not that he'll be claimed but it's something to think about.
Chisoxfn
They won't waste an option on Anderson to have him come up solely to pinch hit and go down. You could see Norton or someone like that up though. Personally I don't think they'll make any move unless they move Walker back down.

Walker has not been used other than maybe a couple innings since he was called up and he was brought up solely for the last series' we played. DBAHO
QUOTE(elrockinMT @ May 19, 2005 -> 10:16 AM) If they send anyone down it would probably be Walker and not Cotts. Walker has not been used other than maybe a couple innings since he was called up and he was brought up solely for the last series' we played. They won't be sending Cotts down after he pitched a scoreless inning of relief (at home as well), even though the majority round here won't like that. YASNY
Cotts must have read all the b****in' on here about walking guys. He threw 19 pitches today, 15 for strikes. Wouldn't shock me to see Norton or Borchard called up.
whitesox91403
Norton would be fine with me. Hasn't Burke satisfiied his requirement to be called back? Either or would be fine with me,
Jabroni
Norton would be fine with me. Hasn't Burke satisfiied his requirement to be called back? Either or would be fine with me, <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Norton would be a great move. He can pinch-hit (and switch hit) and backup 1st and 3rd base.
