Chisoxrd5
Daily Southtown-Sox Players: Zambrano's antics cross line A beautiful thing. Talk about knowing what buttons to push before going into this series!! I'm giving 2:1 odds that Zambrano plunks Rowand for those comments.... southsider2k5
Could you imagine a bench clearing brawl with the Cubs... Daley would need to call out the national guard like his dad did in 68.
YASNY
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 20, 2005 -> 09:14 AM) Could you imagine a bench clearing brawl with the Cubs... Daley would need to call out the national guard like his dad did in 68. I hope to hell that never happens. It would spill over into the stands ... undoubtedly. What a nightmare that could turn into. EvilJester99
All its going to take is Scotty Pods to get on base and it will drive Zambrano over the edge....

What a nightmare that could turn into. The thing is, it isn't a difficult scenario to imagine. Zambrano goes out pissed of at what the Sox said about him. Z throws at Rowand, or someone else. You know the Sox under Ozzie aren't back down, so they get pissed and charge the mound. Benches clear, punches thrown...

Jabroni
Don't be to surprised if he doesn't start. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Zambrano will pitch on Saturday but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets reinjured or pulled early. I predict he gets those arm cramps again. Edited May 20, 2005 by Jabroni

Chisoxrd5
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 20, 2005 -> 08:42 AM) Rowand=my new favorite Sox player. It's about time someone had the balls to say that about him! Two good years and the guy thinks he's frickin' Nolan Ryan. :finger Zambrano! IIRC, Bonds called him out two years ago, ...the one thing Bonds has ever done that I agree with, Austin Kearns has made comments about him...Im pretty sure u can put together a pretty long list of players who find his antics to be childish and bush league. Zambrano has to be hated around the league for the way he acts like a total moron on the mound. Class and professionalism isnt something that Dusty must preach to his players
LosMediasBlancas
I think we'll see one extreme or the other from Fat Boy. He'll be pumped and anxious to show that his arm is ok, hopefully he's overly emotional and wild. Question? How has Pods done on the bases against the Scrubs?
