hammerhead johnson
2003: 19 HR and 69 RBI in 551 AB 2004: 8 HR and 48 RBI in 379 AB 2005: 1 HR and 6 RBI in 132 AB Okay, what's up with this guy? Was he poppin' roids? Because I drafted him really high (like a dumbass, apparently) expecting some decent HR and RBI numbers.

hammerhead johnson
QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 20, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) Clint Barmes is the s***. For real. I got Clint too...he's my starting SS. He's been unbelievable. Giles updated: 136 AB .272 AVG 1 HR 6 RBI 3 SB Fantasy stud I know he's had a bunch of nagging injuries, but this guy is supposed to be a Top 3 second baseman in the majors. I hope he turns it around.
DBAHO
I traded Barmes for Ben Sheets. Someone should remind Marcus he's playing in Atlanta not San Diego like his brother.

Kalapse
I have Loretta(.300, 0HR, 13RBI, 24Runs, 6SB), Barmes(.371, 7HR, 26RBI, 32Runs 3SB) and C. Guillien(.375, 2HR, 11RBI, 23Runs 1SB). I love Clint Barmes but I'm not sold on him yet. Loretta isn't doing me any good on the bench. I'm thinking about trading Loretta what do you guys think? What is your utility situation looking like? Because you can get Barmes in at 2B, Guillen at SS, and Loretta in at UT. You should dominate in batting average and runs. He's been pretty solid. I have Travis Hafner(.270, 5HR, 18RBI, 19Runs 0SB) at IB. He's been pretty disapointing.
BuehrleTheAce
I drafted Marcus Giles high too, and I had him last year. This year he's sucked so bad I've benched him the past two or three games. Tonight he was 3/4 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored, but still no NR and he isn't stealing bases like he can. I hope he can turn it around. hammerhead johnson
Marcus is coming around. Update: .291 AVG 2 HR 17 2B 12 RBI 30 R 6 SB And he hit a solo shot just now against the Phillies. All of a sudden, he has 20 extra-base hits through 50 games, putting him on pace for damn near 70. Of course, he always has nagging injuries, so he probably won't get to 70 like he did in 2003. But now he has 2 HR in his last 23 ABs. He had 70 extra-base hits when he was healthy in 2003. That's why I had roids on my mind.

There are steroids you can take, that when you stop taking them and remain on a steady workout routine you keep most of what you gained.. I see a lot of people saying "steroids" to someone who isnt producing like they use to and thats not exactly the case
