LowerCaseRepublican Posted April 23, 2003 Share Posted April 23, 2003 Sad thing is after hearing some of the kids interviewed after the antiwar rally's saying things like "I just wanted to skip class..." http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...q_uc/nq20030422 What's sad is a professor in political science at North Central Texas College was recently suspended for "not being a true American" and "not being patriotic enough" because she gave extra credit to her class for those that went out to observe a peace rally (not participate, just observe one...you know since it is political science, it makes sense that one would want the students to see democracy at work) But the O'Reilly Youth went to the university and she was suspended (in violation of the proper channels of teacher review, so this professor can sue if she wants).
