Awesome CLee had 4 rbi with a homer..

I miss Carlos  :crying

But heres to having Pods/Vizcaino/El Duque/Extra Cash  :drink  :cheers

I wish Carlos the best but I can honestly say that Scott has made me not miss Carlos at all.

Yea Carlos pissed me off bigtime tonight - I've got Radke on my fantasy team. But at least something good came of it - the Twinkies fell further behind in the standings! I've also got Matt Morris and HE was pissing me off too, but Larry Walker bailed him out. So overall it was a beautiful day (except for El Duque going on the DL)!

Carlos also made a web gem.... his fielding keeps getting better year by year... I still wish we traded Konerko instead... but than im also really happy with what Pods has done for us.

I also wish we traded Konerko instead but oh well. I think Carlos has one year left after this one to go. No matter what, I love Pods.

How could I forget. :huh

As much as I love CLee.

Pierzynski/Pods/Duque/Vizcaino/Cash >>>>>>>>> Carlos

Screw that. Pods>Carlos. Not even close. Carlos is hitting .259 this year. Even if he hits like he did last year I'd still take Podsednik over him, no contest.

Right now I'd venture to say Scott>>>>Carlos, if Carlos hits 30 plus bombs and drives in over 100, scott is still much more valuable then Carlos. Players like Scott just aren't around anymore, he's very special.

yes but also Carlos >> Konerko... still we made out like theives on the deal, Pods has been amazing and we got other key players because of it.. but even though Carlos avg. been down he has made the brewers a bigger threat offensively... its nice to see a trade where both sides win.

Like's already been said there is no way that Milwaukee would have taken pauly so it's a moot point.

did i say they would? im just saying that of the two who seemed like they were on the trading block... Carlos has done better than Konerko.... also we might of been able to traded Konerko for maybe Juan Pierre before Marlins signed Delgado... but in the end we are all 31-12 so good luck Carlos but i guess we dont need you..

This thread os basically worthless. Why do we thgink that we had a choice between trading PK or CL? The Brewers wanted Lee. They had no use for a firstbaseman.

The trade happened, and so far it's worked out well for us. Regardless of what type of year Carlos has, this trade has made the Sox a better team. What else can you ask from a trade?

Who says they didn't want a 1st baseman? They only have Lyle Overbay and Prince Fielder. Those guys suck!

It was more likely they were going to deal Castillo before Pierre anyways, and if we did that, we wouldn't have Iguchi. Things couldn't have worked out better quite frankly.

As someone who was initially skeptical of this trade, I've become satisfied with the results for both teams as it relates to SPods and CLee. I don't see why a winner has to be declared between the two.

As to Viz(and the reason I wasn't too happy about the trade), he has so far been exactly what I feared. Mediocre at best. I would've been much happier with Turnbow or Wise.
