BuehrleTheAce
Yea Carlos pissed me off bigtime tonight - I've got Radke on my fantasy team. But at least something good came of it - the Twinkies fell further behind in the standings! I've also got Matt Morris and HE was pissing me off too, but Larry Walker bailed him out. So overall it was a beautiful day (except for El Duque going on the DL)!
traydragen
Ahem, AJ Pierzynski. How could I forget. As much as I love CLee. Pierzynski/Pods/Duque/Vizcaino/Cash >>>>>>>>> Carlos

I still wish we traded Konerko instead... but than im also really happy with what Pods has done for us.

YASNY
If I'm not mistaken, we have reached a season high by being 19 GAMES OVER .500 for the first time this year. And it's still May!

Pierzynski/Pods/Duque/Vizcaino/Cash >>>>>>>>> Carlos Screw that. Pods>Carlos. Not even close. Carlos is hitting .259 this year. Even if he hits like he did last year I'd still take Podsednik over him, no contest.

Right now I'd venture to say Scott>>>>Carlos, if Carlos hits 30 plus bombs and drives in over 100, scott is still much more valuable then Carlos. Players like Scott just aren't around anymore, he's very special.

Carlos has done better than Konerko.... also we might of been able to traded Konerko for maybe Juan Pierre before Marlins signed Delgado... but in the end we are all 31-12 so good luck Carlos but i guess we dont need you.. YASNY
This thread os basically worthless. Why do we thgink that we had a choice between trading PK or CL? The Brewers wanted Lee. They had no use for a firstbaseman. The trade happened, and so far it's worked out well for us. Regardless of what type of year Carlos has, this trade has made the Sox a better team. What else can you ask from a trade?

It was more likely they were going to deal Castillo before Pierre anyways, and if we did that, we wouldn't have Iguchi. Things couldn't have worked out better quite frankly. Capn12
I have one thing to say about all this.... Pods OBP = .394 26 SBs, .294 BA, .394 OBP....thank you Kenny, for getting us something we sorely needed.
LosMediasBlancas
What a day! Sox win Twins lose Cards win Scrubs lose ........and Dye rocked LaToya, LMAO! upnorthsox
As someone who was initially skeptical of this trade, I've become satisfied with the results for both teams as it relates to SPods and CLee. I don't see why a winner has to be declared between the two. As to Viz(and the reason I wasn't too happy about the trade), he has so far been exactly what I feared. Mediocre at best. I would've been much happier with Turnbow or Wise.
