Jabroni
"Notes: Baldwin glad to be back in bigs O's to use veteran in long relief, possibly as spot starter" http://baltimore.orioles.mlb.com/NASApp/ml...t=.jsp&c_id=bal BALTIMORE -- James Baldwin harbored no bitterness or disdain when the Orioles sent him to Minor League camp in Spring Training. He said he believed with some quality outings for Triple-A Ottawa, he would be back in the Major Leagues rather quickly. Baldwin is back in the bigs for the first time in more than a year as the Orioles' long reliever and potentially spot starter. The 33-year-old Baldwin, who was an All-Star in 2000 with the Chicago White Sox, put in his work for Ottawa and said he always remained positive. "I felt like if I got in there and worked my [butt] off that good things would happen," said Baldwin, who was 3-2 with a 4.60 ERA in eight starts for the Lynx. "I have always had a positive attitude and hopefully I can help the team out."
YASNY
4.60 ERA in AAA doesn't sound too impressive, but I wish JB luck.
Brian
I respect his love of the game, but he should probably take a page out of Parque's book and call it a career.

Leonard Zelig
QUOTE(YASNY @ May 22, 2005 -> 10:52 AM) 4.60 ERA in AAA doesn't sound too impressive, but I wish JB luck. Lower than BMAC's.
Punch and Judy Garland
I hope he's great for them. You gotta love Baldwin and that Wolfman look in his eyes. What a competitor. We'll never forget what he did for us in 2000, a magical season
