Chisoxfn
Well as long as the Sox play and take care of business then I have no worries about the other teams in our division.

BridgeportHeather
Well as long as the Sox play and take care of business then I have no worries about the other teams in our division. You may wanna look out for KC. We didn't think Minnesota could do what they did last year, so we don't know what KC can do THIS year. baggio202
despite the great start by kc and in particular hernandez , affeldt , anscensio and george...that staff will not hold up over the entire season...they came in with the highest wins for a returning pitcher at 4..i think hernandez can win 15 but i wouldnt be surprised if any other starter won even 10 games..and their bullpen..well outside of macdougal is almost non existent..rather have KC beat up on minnesota now... mac9001
..rather have KC beat up on minnesota now... Ditto, KC doesn't have the pitching to keep this up. I still see the Twins as our biggest challange.

Agreed. Grimsley is also pretty good out of the pen. Once Beltran is traded....the ship will fall apart. That will be like a kick to the crotch for KC. I still think they'll win 70-75....maybe even squeak out with a .500 record. They just don't have the depth to continue this success. KC is going to be playing some better competition....going to play a mildly hard east coast set in the next 3 weeks or so....playing Toronto, Boston, and Baltimore....with the Twinkies in the middle....and after that is over....they have a tough-ass west coast set of games...playing Oakland and Seattle....and then hitting interleague play....where they play LA, Colorado, Arizona, and San Fran....and they then play St. Louis. The Royals won't keep it up. They've been hot as hell....but it will end sooner rather than later.
YASNY
Have you looked at the Sox schedule after the Baltimore series? ..... It looks tougher than Kc's to me. I wonder if Rosenthal of The Sporting News still has the Twins rated the #1 team in baseball.

YASNY
Even though they were mauled by the Yankees, to the tune of 7consecutive losses, that moron still probably has them ranked #1. I agree with you Baggs... 2nd or 3rd at best, either team, either division.
Grebeck Fan Club
At the rate they're going, the Twins are going to get swept again. I do wonder how we'll fare against better teams. The schedule's been weak to date.
southsider2k5
I wonder how quickly the Twins bandwagon will start to empty if they stick around .500 for too much longer?
