With both Frank and Ross in Charlotte for rehabs, do they have to clear roster spots for each of them?  Or is there somekind of an exemption because they are major leaguers on a rehab??

When they are activated, there has to be room made on the roster for them.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I actually meant how do they affect Charlottes roster. Do they have to move guys around to make room for Frank and Ross?

My bad. I forget what forum we were in when answering that question.

MLB players on rehab do not count against Charlotte's roster, so in effect, they should have 26 active players right now if they are at full strength.

There is a limit on rehab time, however, so if that time is surpassed, and the players kept in AAA then moves to clear space would have to be made.

I think that limit is 20 days.
