5/26 @ Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

You do know that the next batter made an out on the play?  That didn't matter in the long run.  I would rather see us send the runner on 3rd hoping for a miscue by the defense than to just stand on the base and wait for a 2 out hit.

i'm sorry that you have that philosophy. the contact play only works when the defense is playin back. the funny thing is that in the first inning ozzie was f***in stupid and kept the infield back instead of bringing them in and we gave up a run. if the infield was in he throws him out at the plate in plenty of time. and to say the next guy made an out makes no sense at all. it's still a different situation with 2nd and 3rd instead of 1st and 3rd. how do you know he'd get the same pitch?

How's your boy Cruddy been doing?  LOL.

My boy? I didn't know I had a 'boy'. If you go back and look at my posts, I don't think I predicted Crede to stay over .300. I think, that if I did peg him at anything (and I don't even remember making a prediction on him), he'd be at .250-.260.

I just thought that we should enjoy what Crede was doing at the time, rather than thinking about how he was eventually going to fall down.

And, the Angels GM had an awful offseason. Instead of throwing big bucks at either Pedro or Beltran, they sign Finley and Byrd and Cabrera.

AL Central > AL West.

KW.....please, please, please do something about our offense.  You have to be nuts to think our starting pitching will continue to perform at the level they have.

You'd also have to be nuts to think that these hitters can keep looking this bad for an entire season.

You sure of that? I would clearly say that our pitchers have pitched better than they were expected to as compared to our hitters and their expectations.
