I couldn't agree with you more. Not only is the team struggling, but we're also in between on trying to play smallball or homer ball. We have one guy who can consistently steal on our team....but once you get past the first few hitters, you have the slowest team in the majors. Also, we're not getting the homer production from Rowand, Crede, and Uribe that we expected.

There's nothing to suggest Everett is hurt. What's been hurting Everett is overswinging at pitches right down the plate, and fouling them off. Then, when he gets 2 strikes on him, he's swinging at anything within 5 feet of the plate.

Let's hope so. Neal Cotts does have a good future with this team in my opinion, but I am not sure he should be a reliever. Starting is where he should be at.
