nvxplorer
QUOTE(qwerty @ May 26, 2005 -> 09:58 PM) Pretty sad when .260's is considered good for any player in any month... We are lucky pierz is getting on at his current rate, .30 points higher this year from his batting average than his career. Rowand has also been less than exciting. Like I said, he's sucked in this series. Before Anaheim, he was hitting .300 with a .600+ slugging for May. Rowand is hitting .293 in May. That may be less than exciting, but it's not less than I'd expect from him. The Angels have one of the best pitching staffs in the league. The Sox hitters will do fine in Texas. southsideirish71
Pitchers are throwing fastballs down the plate pretty much saying I dont think you are going to hit it to Crede and company.
whitesox91403
if my math is correct there were 18 total runs scored by both teams this entire 4 game series. Neither team hit for s***. it was a well pitched series and to leave Anaheim with a split is just fine. On to texas, where 1 win assures them a .500 record on a difficult road trip.
