CSF
QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 27, 2005 -> 08:42 PM) Missing your spot 4 times for 4 homers and 6 runs is not a good outing. Did I call it a good outing? I said he didn't too badly. I'm quite aware 4 homers surrendered isn't a good thing, but I also don't think he was completely overematched either. He missed a few spots, and paid for it. qwerty
QUOTE(JimH @ May 27, 2005 -> 08:42 PM) He threw a few changes but not enough. Blalock stayed back on one change he threw and poked it into RF for a hit. But yeah, I agree completely, he cannot leave pitches up like he did. Teams like Texas and Cleveland will kick the s*** out of him. The indians are one of the very worst offensive teams in baseball this year. I do not follow. Guest JimH
Vizcaino out of the inning. I have no choice but to pull hard for this guy ... he ain't going anywhere folks. They like his arm and they will work with him to get it turned around. Guillen seems to think he's off because he's not getting enough work. Not saying I agree, but who knows. fathom
McCarthy gave up 4 homers, and Texas could have easily hit about 3 more. They were hitting him very hard, and had some deep fly outs. McCarthy has got to get some sink on his fastball, as it's extremely hittable.
Guest JimH
The indians are one of the very worst offensive teams in baseball this year. I do not follow. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> qwerty ... yes they have been pretty bad but they have a lot of offensive talent over there. When they crank up their bats (and they will) they eat pitchers up who leave stuff up in the zone.

jackie hayes
Oops, I'd gotten used to those late...LA?....starts. Looks like I missed all the fun. It is frightening, looking down the avg column in the Gameday lineup. I keep believing they're gonna turn it around, but how long can it take? Well that's 1, anyways. PK! Teams like Texas and Cleveland will kick the s*** out of him. To me this start reminded me of Diaz V. Baltimore last year. Felix got through the first few innings unscathed, but then came apart in the 5th i think. It might have been cleveland now that I think about it. But, in the first inning you could see that he was always up the the zone. He was going to get punished, and eventally did. Konerko HR... We only need 5 more of those to tie. I said it before the year and i still believe it. how many players on that team have had more than one or two good offensive seasons in their entire careers? it was too easy to put together. Guest JimH
Dye can't get it up LOL. A double. He hit that one hard, the pitcher is tiring. Hopefully at least we get into their bullpen tonite to make them work.

Guest JimH
On another more important matter, I think I am finally ready to do my first avatar after several thousand posts. I will have to ask someone to do it or at least help, I'm definitely leaning toward the famous Lori Loughlin six pack abs picture. A 40 yr. old woman with six pack abs, that is freakin' magnificent.
