soxfan420
who needs him anyway. he is horrible so why not send down the 3rd catcher that we never use and send garland to the pen, i dont think sending him down is the answer.
KipWellsFan
Agreed, Paul gets virtually no playing time and I haven't seen his name very often as a pinch runner.
chunk23
Paul has been doing fine in his very limited play time. Also, Wright is still not ready, he needs to get his pitch count back up. He's only had 2 starts since being on the DL, so I wouldn't say he's greenlighted. If anything, if Paul is sent down, its so we can bring up Harris to platoon in the OF. Agreed he needs some time to get his pitch count back to normal. But once he's ready I say option Paul and not Stewart or Garland who can still be imo very valuable. Chisoxfn
Once Wright is 100%, then we'll see what happens. I tend to think that when that times comes, we'll know a whole lot more about the team and we'll see exactly what happens. I think we'll end up carrying an extra reliever, possibly Stewart with Wright taking over the rotation.

True, our rotation is already fairly solid. So no need to rush.

southsider2k5
I think the 12 man staff is a much better idea rather than the extra guy on the bench. There have been a few cases this year, where we could have used a long reliever to save our pen, and instead we had to extend guys like Whte, Glover and Wunsch.
