thomsonmi
While Kenny is checking out Frank this weekend in Charlotte, I hope Brian Anderson catches his eye. Given how badly Dye and Everett are hitting it may be time to see what this kid can do. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...milb&pid=435042 I know his strike out totals are high but he can't do any worse than half of our current lineup. And, maybe the trip to Coors is just the time to bring him in.
Kalapse
Thomsonmi Why must you retread this. There were already 7 threads made about Brian Anderson this week alone.

But, technically speaking, a search of "Brian Anderson" shows one thread started on May 17, 2005 and last posted on May 19, 2005. I would suggest that the topic is still relevant and my own position on the issue has changed during the last week. If you don't like the topic ignore it. Next time, I'll post about something like attendance at the Cell. Edited May 27, 2005 by thomsonmi
AddisonStSox
You are an excellent poster--truly, first class--but, I'm with K on this one. Anderson belongs in Charlotte and should play his ass off and hope to find his way on a late-season roster. Now is not the time.

It's just the Brian Anderson argument is getting old. I think everyone has their own opinion on the subjuct it just gets old after a while, when you're constintly discussing it. I agreed with you guys a week ago but Everett is struggling so badly right now it seems to me Coors Field and Rockies pitching would be a good chance to give the kid a look. Unlike pitchers, I think the risk of calling a guy like Anderson up too early is much lower.
bjm676
If he's called up and goes 2-for-40 or so, then everyone will be saying he was called up too early or he's the second coming of Joe Borchard. So unless an injury occurs, we won't be seeing him until September. No earlier. Edited May 27, 2005 by robinventura23
thomsonmi
Ironic that with your handle "Robin Ventura" that you'd be concerned about him beginning his career 2 for 40.

DonkeyKongerko
How about a Knight named Ross?
Jabroni
How about a Knight named Ross? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is his last name Choad? Hopefully, he will be healthy soon. We need another 1st baseman if Paulie goes into another extended slump.
Kalapse
I don't know why but I desperately want to see Greg Norton back in a White Sox uniform, just for one atbat.

Heads22
Who is Brian going to replace? Oh, Kris Honel wouldn't be a bad idea.
DBAHO
Where are my points on Anderson again. Maybe I should just put them into my sig so posters can constantly look at it.
