Rowand44
That a boy Jermaine, stayed right on the ball, didn't fly open and delivers the breaking ball into left field, nice piece of hitting.
fathom
QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 29, 2005 -> 06:23 PM) DEAD IS ALIVE! Dye has a lot more flexibility in his swing. Earlier this year, he was standing straight up when he would swing, and had no chance at the low, outside pitch.
Jabroni
At least they are making Ho throw a lot of pitches.
fathom
Park will definitely walk some batters if we stop swinging at every low pitch he throws. His control was what got him in trouble in the first at the Cell a few weeks ago.
Rowand44
QUOTE(fathom @ May 29, 2005 -> 12:24 PM) Dye has a lot more flexibility in his swing. Earlier this year, he was standing straight up when he would swing, and had no chance at the low, outside pitch. The low outside breaking ball has been the problem for most of our right handed hitters this year. That's what happens when you're cheating and your hips fly open to try and pull the ball. fathom
What a terrible offense. I swear, all you have to do is get two strikes on our hitters, and they'll chase anything within a few feet of the plate if you throw an offspeed pitch.

Chisoxfn
For f*** sake all you have to do is throw this team a breaking ball. Dye, Crede, Everett (well him a changeup) and your gonna have an easy time pitching around these guys. Pathetic. Kenny may not be able to wait to long if Minny gets closer, its becoming glaringly obvious that this team needs about two more good hitters (I'm hoping one of those will be Juan Uribe finding his stroke) and than of course the addition of the Big Hurt and Gload. Still, two weeks from now if Crede is still sucking, Kenny needs to make a move. This team is playing for the now, and Crede ain't going to be around in the future anyway. 60% of this lineups approach is swing as if its a fastball 100% of the time. Has he done anything spectacular since the calendar turned to May? He doesn't do anything spectacular he's just a good, solid, professional hitter. Joe will hit .270 and will get the big knock when you need him to.
