CWSGuy406
Isn't Sowers the kid that Cleveland grabbed, first-round last season? And, when is Gio going to get back in the rotation?

ottawa_sox
Indy waited until the first hitter in top of the 8th to get their first hit. Then the next batter got their second. They then scored with a 3rd hit in the inning, but the guy down trying to stretch a single into a double. Another great throw by Anderson. Baj then came in and shut down any further damage. In the bottom of the 8th, Frank hit the ball very hard. Edited May 29, 2005 by ottawa_sox
dasox24
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 29, 2005 -> 12:53 AM) Isn't Sowers the kid that Cleveland grabbed, first-round last season? Yep. He's a very polished lefty from Vandy. It was said when he was drafted that he could be one of the 1st to reach the majors from the '04 draft. dasox24
Update: Kanny took lead, 4-2, thanks in part to Josh Hansen's 11th HR of the year. W-S is coming back, 5-4 in the bottom of 8th. Still 2-0 Bham in top of 8th. Charlotte still up 3-1 in top of 9th.

On the play at the plate to end the game West Tenn radio said it was a wild pitch by Meaux that came back to Stewart with some luck and nailed the runner. So did we get lucky for once? BHAMBARONS
QUOTE(minorsfan @ May 29, 2005 -> 08:37 AM) Sounded like Jenks had a real tough time. On the play at the plate to end the game West Tenn radio said it was a wild pitch by Meaux that came back to Stewart with some luck and nailed the runner. So did we get lucky for once? C It was a wild pitch I was thinking about an SEC tourney game yesterday I seen a lot of baseball yesterday I am sorry for the mistake, But in Jackson they have a padded section around the backstop well there is a 2ft area that is brick the ball hit that section superballed back to Stewart who then flipped to Meaux for what turned into the 27th out. Yes we got VERY lucky Jenks hasn't figured these guys out yet really struggled against them given up at least 2 runs in all 3 games against them. Thanks again for pointing that out to me Edited May 29, 2005 by BHAMBARONS
