Point Value: 30

Of course, it's that colonel famous for his secret blend of 11 herbs and spices... Colonel Sanders of KFC.

A side note - Did you know that the Colonel's herbs and spices are actually salt, pepper and MSG? That doesn't make 11 in my book.

I'm getting off topic. Here are the responses.

CONTESTANT           SCORE TOTAL RECORD RANK TIME
chimpy2121*            30    30   1- 1   11    :15
Kalapse                30   149   3- 1    1   3:59
Credepopsup            30    85   2- 0    3  11:19
Heads22                30    45   1- 2   10  17:41
WHarris1               30    79   2- 0    4  22:20
SleepyWhiteSox         30    60   2- 1    7  22:55
FlaSoxxJim              0    49   1- 1    9  14:49

chimpy2121 gets to choose the next category.

This is the most landed on square in a game of Monopoly, partially due to its location and partially because you can get sent there by picking up a card in the Chance deck.

Isn't this more like the SoxTalk Useless Fastest Googler Game?

I like the idea but this is the Internet we're talking about.

I trust that people won't use the internet... I hope people aren't that evil

I was sick and tired of one of the other Sox boards... and someone wanted me to continue the game over here... so I obliged. They were spamming and trolling, with 100 posts in 2 days, so I migrated.

Ah abandoning that ship. Now I understand. Welcome over with the rest of them.

He actually got over here, but you stopped him quickly.

A little hint: His username is go sox. (One of many).

He has gMail and a dynamic IP. You haven't seen the last of him.

And as the results from the sixth question come in, it seems that Kalapse's early lead is waning... only four points separates him and second place! We also had a record 15 players in this round.

The answer is Jail, with the cards and the Go To Jail space in the corner. In second, and receiving 25 points as a partial answer, is Illinois Ave., the most-landed-on property. Rounding out the top three is B&O Railroad. In 1,000,000,000 simulated rolls, over 60 million went to Jail, 32 million for Illinois, and 30 million for B&O.

That said, here are the results!

CONTESTANT           SCORE TOTAL RECORD RANK TIME
56789                  45    45   1- 0   11   1:35

Question 07

Category: Logician's Nightmare #1

Point Value: 58

As it is known 2 multiplied by 2 produces the same result as 2 added to 2, or four.

Can you think of another pair of numbers (a and B) which when multiplied together give the same result when they are added together? In other words, choose two numbers in which a+b = a*b.

Note that the numbers may be different. And, of course, you are allowed to choose from the decimal numbers as well.

Both numbers must be non-zero.

Sorry about being late... my computer is crazy...

:chair

I am really thinking of ditching M$ for good... it even crashed my Linux partition.

Thus, there will be no question today... the next one will be tomorrow.

However, I do have the answers.

For the three people that answered correctly, they all answered differently. There are an infinite number of answers, both positive and negative. The first two pairs are 3 and 1.5, followed by 5 and 1.25. In the negative, -1.0 and .5 work.

CONTESTANT           SCORE TOTAL RECORD RANK TIME
FlaSoxxJim             58   196   4- 0    2   5:28
Kalapse                58   221   4- 2    1   3:59
ScottPodRulez22*       58    83   1- 1    8    :22
chi-guy2                0    15   0- 2   15   1:20

ScottPodRulez22 gets the next category.

I guess he got tired of making a new question everynight. Or maybe his computer is having problems like he says everytime a question is late.

Yeah, i was still waiting for part III of that last question. :D

I thought it was a fairly good idea, but I can see how it can be time-consuming and difficult as a 100-day commitment.

Oh well.  Maybe he does just have computer problems.

It should be lowered to like 50 questions. 100 day is alot it preety hard to get on this site 100 days in a row.
