Jabroni
Wow, these guys are really bad. Shingo gives up homers like they're candy. Cotts can't EVER get the first batter that he faces out. And Vizcaino gets hit harder than a hooker holding out on her pimp. What guys can we go after via trade to help bolster our crumbling bullpen? CSF
QUOTE(doUrememberwhen @ May 29, 2005 -> 04:57 PM) Let's give Jenks a shot!!! That's not even funny in green! Let Razor Shines & Dotson continue to screw that kid's head on straight in Birmingham. That's our future closer there.

kapkomet
I just commented on this in the Notes from Texas thread. Cotts needs to work to get some consistency. He'll be back. Shingo on the other hand, put a fork in him. He's more then done. They (the hitters) know the book now. He will be successful only in certain situations, because the majors have caught his game and that's about it on that.
Jabroni
Oh, and that wild pitch by Cotts was rather Ankiel-esque. I'm glad that the Cotts supporters are finally in hiding now. :headshake Edited May 29, 2005 by Jabroni

EvilJester99
I see the Giants designated Matt Herges for assignment....he was decent last season but not so much this year...maybe he would be worth taking a flyer on if someone else doesn't nab him.... He's the guy that had a problem with Pierzynski last season with the Giants and caused all those problems for A.J. All that team cancer stuff. doUrememberwhen
maybe we could get linebrink and borroughs from the padres? Edited May 29, 2005 by doUrememberwhen

Given that description, how is Matt Herges any different than Vizcaino? My solution would be to try Bajenaru before going out to make any other moves (although he was terrible in his call-up last year). Still, Scott Sullivan type relievers will be available once teams start to sell off, we should be fine without having to give up too much. GoodAsGould
I dont know why Cotts get so much hate, his era is in the 3's and he is apposed to be our mop-up guy in a way... So I think he is doing a hell of a job. Shingo and Viz on the other hand :puke ..... at least shingo gave me some memories of last year Viz gets the extra :puke
