By young I wasn't really talking age although I think he is only 22 yrs old. He was drafted in the 1st round of the June 2004 draft out of OSU. He started in high A Winston-Salem and hit .285 in 66 games. In 2005 he began in AA Birmingham, so he is really only beginning he second year in pro ball.

 

That is what I meant by "young". I am sure it is a big adjustment not only from football to baseball , but to wood bats.

he does, he's got a long swing. maybe a hitting coach of some sort could tell him to shorten it.
